The California Academy of Sciences is one of the most exciting cultural attractions to open in many years (new building opened September, 2008). Located in Golden Gate Park, it features an aquarium, a planetarium and a natural history collection—all of which are exceptional experiences. It is also the world’s largest platinum-certified green building, which inspired Event Network to develop a large and compelling offering of green and conservation-oriented merchandise. The early indications are that this will be one of our largest and most dynamic businesses.
